Update on sub : did a check on the Paradigm sub . Pushed the cone down a little and there's a scratching sound . Could the coil be shot also ? Or is it because the cone is not aligned perfectly (without the foam). Who can test and repair professionally ?

Sub is the PDR 10 (10 inch)

Thank you all Gents . Advice highly appreciated . Already got the system this morning . There were also 5 small Paradigm satellites included . Did a quick test when we got home and found the sub sounded a bit wonky . Removed the sub from the box and turns out the foam surrounds were shot . Then...

Because the police will do nothing . Police calls it a civil case not a criminal case . And nobody has time or money to waste to go to court etc , so it just gets written off as a bad experience .
