in general, I would sa even a so-so integrated stereo sound better than most similar av/surround amps in stereo setup...  but your opinion might differ... Another thing to consider... if you're gaming, you might want to consider getting at least 5.1 surround for the PC, so an older AV surround...

a DVC sub has 4 speaker connectors.  on + and one -  for each voice coil. to connect it in 8Ohm configuration, you connect the + from the one connector to your + on the amp, and the - from the OTHER connector to the - on the amp.  to complete the circuit, you connect the 2 loose connectors...

What Steerpike said... If the tape deck has the monitor switch, flip it to source. Works 100% this way on my Harman Kardon deck
