    I use a yamaha rxa 810 at present and it's great. Most rxa 8xx and up have full pre outs and plenty of hdmi ins with 2 or more outs. Getting one of those with a power amp would be better than the yamaha alone. You can still use the yamaha amps for the surround speakers and just run your mains...

    I did a test with telkom mobile. Where they have coverage it is great but their network around the country is not as good. So if you only use it in limited areas it's good and cheap going out of those areas can be a problem

    Velodyne EQ Max 12 vs SVS PB1000

    The svs12 nsd is a great sub. I have 2 in my 6x6 room. 1 is plenty for the room and makes everything shake if I ask it to. Works very well for music and movies.

    There is no extra subscription it just allows you to connect your explorer to your network using wireless. You do not need it if you run a network cable and you don't need it if you don't want the extra content / functionality.
