Thanks for the replies guys. I haven't had this issue for a while, however the amp hasn't had much of a "workout" of late. It seems the problem is on only one bridged channel, when the amp is nice and warm ?  :roll: :thinking: Thinking of doing a full "dismantle" and clean. Maybe that will...

Thanks for the feedback, The strange thing is that it was only doing this on the one channel. Changed the speakers around and the problem was still in the same place. I am however now running my center bridged off that channel and will give the bi amping a try as it still has this problem...

Well Here's the thing, I can get the following: Yamaha RX-V861 Receiver B&W 683s B&W HTM62 B&W ASW600 Cambridge Incognito Es10 x1 Niles SS-4 Speaker Selector x1 For R8500 Thus trying to see what the stuf could be worth, as I'd probably only keep the 683's and the ASW600....

Yeah, and that is whats got me. However it doesn't do anything at normal "TV Watching" Volume. I will try the gain thing and report back  :RTFM: ^-^

Ok will give the bi-amp a go once I've sorted this problem. Thanks for the tip about the switches, alas I've already done that as well as rotate the gain pots in an attempt to test all possible issues.

Thanks I will give that a try, however the other 2 channels are at the same gain level without the distortion. It must also be said the distortion happens from a fairly low volume. Thanks, with regards to bridge mode, would it then be better to power the speaker in "standard" mode but...

Thanks for the replies guys. I am currently using the rotel bridged to drive the front 3. And as I mentioned it sounds great when you turn the volume up a little. Thing is, that rarely happens now days. I can't bi-amp with the Yamaha as I'm using the 6th and 7th channels to drive my zone 2....

Ok, so,  :giggle: in my setup, the way we currently use it (with a 8 month old baby in the house), it would seem as though I've wasted my time/money. Turning it up a little I can clearly hear a difference, thing is it seems I rushed into the sale without really thinking it through  :facepalm: So...
