    New bluetooth tech is a little more jacked up. What you want to look for is a device that supports aptx. This gives you cd quality transfer. I currently have the yamaha yba -11 with the aptx. Check out this site  for more info http://www.aptx.com/how-it-works

I would not match b&w683 with the as801. 683s are 8 ohms and need 200 watts the 801 only pushes out 100 watts @ 8...
