Hi Guys Need some advice..I upgraded the HDD on a Pioneer DVD 640HX recorder and after powering up the unit it is stuck in Service Mode.Is there anyone in Cape Town I can take it to as I believe I need a Pioneer Service Remote and Disc(according to the Service Manual) to get it out of service...

It normally happens when the Pvr is overheating.As for the 'Red Pacman' icon  in the top right hand side,if you can't clear it,unfortunately you will have to format your PVR and lose all your recordings. Sorry bro

Hi It happened to my Hd pvr as well.It's HDD failure.I unplugged it from the mains twice and after 30mins after booting up,the red Pacman icon disappeared.Try again to remove power plug from the decoder and power up again after 5mins or so. Regards

Hi I have been running KEFXQ5's ,XQ2C Centre,XQ1 Rears,REL R205 with Yamaha Z7 for last few years.All cabling used are Kimber and AR.I am looking to 'improve'my sound without really breaking the bank.Will a power amp paired with Z7 make a vast difference?If so,what power amp would you recommend...

Thanks again for your advice,I have been to Tokyo a few times before,and bought a Plasma there,but it did not work in SA due to it having an ATSC/NTSC Tuner and even if you use it via HDMI it still did not wanna work.You could use it only for gaming and movies via HDMI.
