Do you have a UV filter on your lens. Sometimes light reflects off the lens back to the filter, and then reflected from the filter back to the lens casing strange things to apear in images.

I would at least try option 1 first as it sounds way easier. If it doesn't work you can at least still go for option 2.

I am using the onboard sound on the motherboard which I know is less than ideal but for now I am focusing on another project. I will eventually get a decent sound card though. It is connected via the digital optical connection. If you do come to PE give me a shout.

I have a Compro Remote for Windows Media Center and it works very well. No need to use a mouse or keyboard to access you music, pictures or video files. It can also be used to play dvd's through media center.
