above all, this was the winner for me... sq. If there was a considerable sq difference in favour of the nuprime, its the route i would have went, as a dac is needed in my system.

Wietsche, that helps a ton :2thumbs: thank  you for the comprehensive response, I figured the pi + nuprime will be an advantage, as i would have the option for good amplified headphone signal. but issues raised above do not weigh in its favour as headphones aren't a priority for me right now...

I dont strip the wire at all.. am I the only one that does this? The screw pierces through, and it holds much stronger than a striped wire. P.S Never had contact issue using this method.
