What do you want to use it for?

Most of the times these are cast with pewter or other mixed alloys and not solid brass. Do not refurbish it to much because its is worth more in its original condition.

My music room is only 18 m2,  and the setup is running on long interconnects with short speaker cables.

I bought the pair with the idea of using it as mono amps/bridged on certain speakers that I was hoping to get. Then I got a good deal on this speakers, for the moment, but they only have 1 set of terminals. The speakers require 200W 4ohm and without bridging the amps supply 300W into 4 ohms and...

From what I read on the internet I understand that bridging will give you lower quality sound and amps that are running hotter.

They have the facility to bridge but it is not necessary because there is more than enough power to drive the speakers.

Bought it as a pair at a point when I did not know that the speakers only have 1 set of terminals. With the layout and placement of the components my speaker cables won't be long enough if I place the 1 power amp in the center.

Hi I have 2 power amps with 2 channels each and wants to know if there are any negative effects if you use only 1 channel on each amp? The speakers only have 1 set of terminals so bi-wiring is not an option. Must I swop the channels from time to time or is it save to keep on using the 1 channel...

Yes  I did exactly that but with no response from the receiver.

I can see them in my Sent Messages, but that is all, no indication that it did reach the receiver at all.

Click "My Messages" and then put your mouse on "Messages". You must see "Send messages" then.

Maybe if you stop shaking your head you will notice that there are AV systems with RF remotes out there. :whip:
