The droid fans are just miffed that the OP's options were an iDevice or a Blackberry. Sucks to be the fat kid who's last picked.

Exactly how would Apple tie my purchases to me without an account? What's your point? I know video is almost impossible to make out on a Blackberry.

My old SonyEricsson running 2.1 Lemon tart or whatever was the buggiest crashtastic phone I ever had. The phone app would crash during calls, backup/restore to Google never worked and needing to have a Google account for useful features put me off. That was my first and last Android device...

I just took a listen to the above albums in iTunes and I must say, wow! The Chet Baker album is super laid back. I almost fell asleep in the lounge. Thanks for the suggestions. Are these types of albums hard to come by or will I have luck in the chain stores?

If you like plastic phones, buggy software, no major updates from the manufacturer or app fragmentation get an android. If you want a quality handset, endless software support and the best sounding portable player, get an iDevice.
