France trip - lots of pictures

We were there last year May - took my pregnant wife - she's probably going to drag me back in the near future as she couldn't enjoy the wine I had... was a good trip, just had to turn a blind eye to the cost.

    Unlocking a cellphone

Mobicell Shift is running an older version of Android - you might just be able to access the file system by plugging it into a PC. Have a look here also: https://drfone.wondershare.com/unlock/bypass-android-lock-screen.html

    Unlocking a cellphone

Maybe try plug it into a PC, and see if you can access it - some phones don't prompt you to confirm access, you can then access the phone memory - and logs, e.g. whatasapp, etc. What make and model is it? (another trick which might or might not help - is look at the phone at an angle in light...

Like I said, if they don't solve the problem permanently, log a complaint with the city ombudsman.

Need help from a lawyer CT

Do it for a month, take down the reference numbers each time, then report law enforcement to the city ombudsman - only way I my problem solved.

    Insurance Report

They usually do carry the cost of the report - just query with them how much they cover, there's usually a max amount they'll pay for the report.

Eskom again - Battery, charger and inverter recommendations

The increases are the problem though - R1,500 now - on the 1st of April that'll be R1,725 - and will probably continue to escalate as we continue to bale out Eskom. Even if you break-even, at least you'll hopefully be sitting with a more reliable setup.

Eskom again - Battery, charger and inverter recommendations

I stumbled on this site https://solaradvice.co.za/, which seems to have reasonably priced kits? Once I've paid off my current renovations - my next step is to go offgrid power wise, I definitely think it'll pay for itself in the long run. (no clue as the the actual website - just thought the...

Escom power spikes and our precious kit...

Good to know - I have one on the kitchen fridge, which confuses me every couple of months when I forget about it, and can't figure out why the fridge hasn't come on. Want to look into something more permanent for the rest of the house, my AV equipment, and server - is plugged in behind a...

Escom power spikes and our precious kit...

Out of interest, will those "fridge" protector types work? The ones that leave the power off to the device for 5-10 minutes?

    Chromecast Ultra 4k

I had issues with the normal chromecast and wifi - replaced them with ultra's on ethernet - and no further issues. (not a fan of wifi for anything but browsing the net)

Be careful answering strange numbers, it's also a scam sometimes - either subscribes you to premium content, or is a premium number that charges you on answering.

Smart Wearbles - Discovery Health users

I use a Suunto Spartan Wrist HR - it's often on "takealot" special for R2999 if you're not in a rush: https://www.takealot.com/all?qsearch=suunto+spartan+wrist+hr& EDIT: Just saw you're not a fan - but have a look at the above anyway - its quite small compared to their other devices (I had an...

What happens after 3 days. The HDMI board issue is also why I wont buy Onkyo again. Seems never ending.

    Assessor and tow

:giggle: I used them when I still had my Honda S2000 - they had a special truck which lowered the bed so sports vehicles could be put on without scrapping. The guy helping me showed me pictures of them picking up a Veyron at the airport. I found with this industry it's important to agree on a...
