I 100% agree, this is EXACTLY what I did before. A Sealed enclosure built to the manufacturers specs, 3Sixty.2 processor and a huge amount of power readily available. That setup was just amazing and too this day is still probably my all time favorite listening setup I have ever experienced.

The damaged driver still plays fine, it obviously doesn't sound as good. And I am also worried that if I stress the driver at the moment it will slowly worsen. I can take out one driver and then make a new box to reduce the size, however, I expect that would entail be more work then trying to...

I would def say sealed all the way. That sub will certainly be loud enough if you give it enough power, and then you wont have to sacrifice too much space in your car. What car is this going into? What amp are you using to drive it?

I have zero interest in DSTV. I would only use it for sport, and for that amount of bucks it's worth my while to buy 2.3 beers and some pub grub at my local sports bar once per week when I would be watching anyways and still have a saving. For home it's XBMC for me all the way!

It's an interesting take. I personally really enjoy listening in a car (for particular types of music) because it's closed off and seems to give me alot more impact, especially with midbass and the low frequencies. It's much harder to generate the SPL to do that in a big open room. Of course...

Hey Noizeguy, That looks great... although, the back of my seats are slightly different. Also, I have measured the space and it's tiny, the current subs I have will certainly not fit in there I am afraid. It's a pity as full stealth is generally the way I go for my installs.
