Hello fellow forumites,
So I recently (um, in January) received a new company car, a double cab Nissan hardbody. Its a great car but it has only one large problem.... no space for my crazy sound.
Unfortunately, there is no space under the seats (neither front nor back seat nor behind the seat) to accomodate anything and I do not want to cut the back wall either. This leaves me with only one option, between the drivers seats. Now I know this sounds a bit nuts, but I am absolutely fine with it. I cannot continue without decent sound much longer given how much time I spend in the car between sites / customers.
So, I have a few pictures of the internal space here:

Here are a few of the measurements of the space in the pics:
The amp that has to go in is an Audison LrX 3.1k, PDF of the specs is here. The size of the amp is:
I have 2 subs, both Rockford P2 10's, but they are very old now and I cannot for the life of me find any links for them. I do have the product sheets tucked away safely at home.
Anyways, despite all sizing being insanely difficult to get cracking. I finally took some steps towards getting it done today. I made an MDF base that fits fine, made some small spacers to lift the amp slightly so I can tuck cables away under the amp. I then fitted soft wood risers so I can fit a top and hide away the amp. Here are 2 pics during the process when I was test fitting the amp.

I forgot to take a snap after the top was on but I will get to that. I still need to actually fit the thing and put in all the cables etc.
The next trick is going to be trying to fit in the subs (or at least one of them) somehow. That's going to take some effort that is for sure! I will have it painted / sprayed as similar color to the normal carpets as I can get to try hide them. I may even actually cover it in the same carpet if I can find it.
