My 20w NAD 3020 out plays my 150w Pioneer VSX-2016AV. The detail and punch on the NAD is far superior using my Polk A1's. I'll test the amp on my A7's and see if there's a noticeable difference.

Finally got my delivery from RS Components and picked up a package from Mantech. All the original electrolytic caps have been replaced by a mix of polypropylene and polyester caps. I replaced the resistor that was getting two hot with two resistors in series (20w total) but it hasn't sorted...

Damn. I used Mantech for my entire NAD recap! I used a full range of Rubycon caps.

I have and old VSX-2016AV (150w per channel) running my Polk A7,CS10 centre and A1 surrounds. The fronts are bi-wired and bi-amped but still don't think there's enough juice . I'm keen to try out my NAD3020 as a power amp. Not sure if there would be any benefit?
