Well I'm not the only one who hears the igd on the E. Maybe you are not as sensitive to it as I am, your system is less resolving or your ears just work differently to mine.

I have to disagree with this. I started with the E, moved up to the EN and ended up with the ML. Each time there was a big improvement, especially in the level of inner groove distortion. Take either of Pavlov's Dog's albums, David Surkamp's voice was horrid with the E, barely better with the EN...

Did you ever get one? Any issues with it? I got one a few months ago and I often get error messages. Adendorff sent me a new element but it hasn't quite fixed the problem. Otherwise its a great product.

Well, it appears that I know nuttin. I had no idea/never heard of a DML until I read about it in your post and asked auntie Google.

A friend asked if I would look at a couple of 1960's Marshall guitar amps for him. Apparently one has a faulty transformer. Is there anyone in the country that can assist with re-winding it? Not yet sure if it is a psu or output transformer yet, though would guess it more likely to be on the psu.

Come to think of it, would your system sound better at the coast or at high altitude? My gut feel tells me that it could sound better at the coast due to higher air density.

Shees, tough crowd!! I suspect it is one of those designs that will look much better in person than in pictures. Even though my taste is on the conservative side when it comes to turntables I find a number of interesting design ideas. The speed display for one and the unipivot tonearm another.
