yeah i must say the Makro site has been a bit flakky lately. The TV was on the site on sunday but you couldn't click on it (took you back to www.makro.co.za page) now you cant find the tv on the site and the catalogue says online specifically. it are very weird.

I had 4 x 20m+ runs(back and surround back speakers) of the below cable  to Onkyo NR 929 and i experienced no issues whatsoever. http://www.mantech.co.za/ProductInfo.aspx?Item=45M0138 That being said the NR 929 is a pretty ballsy amplifier so i don't know if that helped.

That is a really good price for that TV. Would also be very interested to hear your thoughts. One note is that the reason for the price is that Hisense has released their new range of TV's which have substantially gone up in price. Makes the previous gen really good value for money.

The last few pairs KEF LS50's i have seen where going for 8500 to 10000 second hand. I see its 18K for a new set so that sounds about right.
