I took the step to adding a power amp to drive my Monitor Audio GX 200's and tested both the Emotiva XPA 2 and Classe CA 2100 against each other. After about two weeks I settled on one.

High level specs:

Classe - 100Wats into 8 Ohm
Emotiva - 300Wats into 8 Ohm

Can anyone guess which one I settled on? It all depends on speakers I'm sure.
