    Wanna buy some records?

I was there earlier this year while on business in Jhb, I didn't have much time though so didn't go upstairs. There were some really interesting lp's which I had never seen before but as you say prices are a bit steep.

    Lenco V-blocks

Got the pricing and if I order 20 blocks it works out to R860 for the batch, this is for a hard rubber with a hardness of 85A on the Shore scale. So working on the 20 quantity price it comes to R43 per v-block, the price will come down even more for larger batches. At the moment I need 4 blocks...

    Lenco V-blocks

Okay I contacted the Centre for Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing here at the CUT and they can 3D print in all sorts of different materials. From my understanding the original Lenco V-blocks were a rather hard type of rubber? Am I correct in assuming this or were they a harder type of plastic...

    Lenco V-blocks

I need a new pair of V-blocks for a Lenco L-75, does anyone have a pair for me or know where I can find some locally? I really don't want to order from overseas unless I have to. Thanks!

    Any Antique firearm experts?

I was able to find this on the British Museum Website: http://www.britishmuseum.org/research/search_the_collection_database/term_details.aspx?bioId=190650 Doesnt really give any information about the maker but it suggest the pistol was made somewhere between 1808 - 1839.

    Any Antique firearm experts?

While on holiday in the Eastern Cape I came across this antique percussion pistol at a 2nd hand shop, it was cheap so I bought it and brought it back home with me. AFAIK one does not need a license for antique black powder firearms, is this correct of has the law changed recently? I would love...

What about a Lenco L75? I have an excellent example available which would also fit nicely into your budget.

Beautiful looking table. I have never had the pleasure of owning a Michell turntable, hopefully one day.

    Anybody here own/owned B&W DM110s?

I owned a pair and really liked the sound that came out of them, one of mine had a blown tweeter but I was able to source a replacement from a lonely DM220 I bought at auction.
