Trying a pair of 3.7i's over the weekend. Not sure if the rest of my system is up to scratch, but should be interisting.

Here's the cost breakdown - I see it was just below R38k, but the R/$ was a lot better. The shipping company they use bill directly in ZAR and insurance is compulsory. The e-club discount has since fallen away.

My XMC-1 bought at $2400 (after discount, including Dirac Live) worked out just below R40k.

I've added a flash which I hold where my head would be, and then point that towards the mirror - simple a case of moving the mirror until the light falls on the speaker (my listening room is very dark and the speakers are black, so needed to add the flash).

Yip, still got some of their interconnects  in the bag. A blueish cable which was the entry level and a greyish one which was a few steps above that. Actually use a pair of the latter to connect the dac in my study to the power amp. Probably time to update the cables...

There is actually no ports on the Nautilus HTM1. The confusion crept in with the B&W literature,  but mine definitely had no ports. Voicing should be better as you do have the Nautilus range and the HTM1 also got the kevlar midrange, but as you said, technology difference is a couple if years...

Why not keep the Plasma and add a projector. That way you can have the best of both worlds, i.e. really big screen for movies / sports / etc., and then normal screen for normal TV watching. I have also looked at the Samsung 75", but seems so small compared to the 106" projector screen that I am...

It is supposed to be 6dB. Attached a graph with the 2 subs in my Tritons - one L, one R and then ran together. Works out to more or less 6dB.

Mo, Where did you order this from.  Using their older 900 but the battery is not lasting even a full music session anymore. Looking for something to replace that.
