I'm currently looking at the Samsung 75" JU6400 LED LCD TV for R45,000 and I'm struggling to find a reason not to upgrade. My current Samsung 63" Plasma (A750 series) is serving me well still. But this 75" TV would look VERY nice in its place. Is there any reason why I should completely avoid this Samsung?

Cons: it doesn't support HDR. It doesn't support UHD Color 4:4:4 @ 60hz for 4K. It "only" has a 200hz (100hz real) Clear motion rate. It doesn't support 3D (I know, it's a gimmick, but I have a surprisingly large number of 3D/2D blu-ray combo packs lol)

Pros: I've seen normal 1080p content on it and I was very happy with the performance. Even with the 200hz clear motion rate, it still seemed very smooth to me. Obviously native 4k content looks amazing on it. I could sell my plasma which is in excellent condition and bring the price down even lower, meaning < R40,000 for a 75" UHD LED LCD TV? sounds like a bargain to me.

Do I go for it, or do I hold out for the next wave of TV's and hope/pray that there's another 75" model which won't cost > R100k ?
