You would actually need to use both switches. Output from one goes to the second one and each feeds a separate decoder in order not to get interference.  You still need the heartbeat coax cable from one RF in to the other RF out.

Joined Tidal this morning - looks awesome and have a big collection of music. So far my 4MB line is working without a problem. I see myself being sorted music wise between Tidal and HD Tracks (for high res downloads). Can also confirm Hi-Fi subscription is $9.99.

Having listened to the HD-DAC1 for a few hours now my impressions below: Build quality - very impressive and unit feels very solid. It should easily survive the typical study bump every now and then. Operation ? Only using the USB input currently, and very solid in this application. Running...

My study setup: Marantz HD-DAC1 to Senheiser HD595?s for headphone use. Also used as DAC/pre-amp to Behringer A500 to B&W DM600 S3?s Works perfectly in this environment and simply love the sound!

Just love the 3D sound on this stereo recording. Think it was called Q-Sound and still very impressive.

I was under the impression Tidal Hi-Fi (which is the uncompressed) is 19.99, and that the 9.99 version has got compression added. Hope I am wrong :)

In a similar fashion they also advertise a Samsung 75" TV for R32k, but have no stock and specific model is not available anymore. I think they need to clean up their archives as this is only visible if searched from Google etc.

Thanks for the info and suggestions. As the Marantz seems to be doing everything I want in one box, and Amazon owners reviews also looks very promising,  I decided to go for it. Will report back once I get it and had a chance to listen to some music.

Anyone with any experience of this DAC? I am planning on getting one for the following reasons: Can use it as a headphone amp ? on spec it is powerful enough to drive the Senheiser HD800?s, which is also in the planning. Currently using HD598?s and should be more than powerfull enough for that...

It's bigger brother, the MC12B, are selling for about R24k. Maybe work it out from there.

One of the biggest selling points of Anthem is their ARC system, which will not be accessible without the calibrated mic and software. I would be very hesitant.
