    personally as a rule of thumb always clean vinyl before playing as this will also prevent cleaning of needle at a later stage. not 100% but less often. get a carbon brush to remove the static from vinyl. always try to use the mechanisms to drop the needle so to speak as this prevents pitting on...

    reissued vinyl

    the other problem i encountered with the Amy vinyl was that the center hole for the pic was sized smaller than the actual pin and couldnt rotate properly. I eventually opened it up a bit to spin more freely.
