    I am seriously looking at this medium again as I enjoyed making mixed tapes as a youngster and would like to do it again with the new vinyl collection. my current tape deck is very basic thogh compared to what you have there Mr Rotten.

    where would one have that done kayvee? Rodney_gold the current pic i have is not good quality. i will take one this evening. it is the sony str-242s tho. was also thinking of possibly have transfer stickers made but fear they will come off from to much friction.

    Thanks Rodney_gold  :thumbs: i did look at the letraset option. was also thinking maybe a clear vinyl printed that can be stuck onto the plate. a thin layer one with everything printed on it. now to source someone that can do it.

    good morning all. i have a old sony amp/tuner combo where the lettering and numbers have been polished off. any ideas as to where i can have these re-done? would really like to restore it. i simply have no idea where to start.

    please excuse me if i am resurecting an old thread. i have recently learned that one can also use a windowlene/distilled water mixture to clean vinyl.used my own ratio..i have attempted it and the results are pretty amaizing. dont know what damage it may cause over the long run. anyone els ever...

    first vinyl was Mamma said knock you out by LL Cool J...not everyones cup of tea. saved a while for it. lost it tho to one of my "friends" sticky fingers. :facepalm:
