The Last Night of the Proms happens once a year over two nights, usually a Saturday and Sunday. It is run by the Rotary club of Wynberg in aid of charity, with the Cape Town Proms Orchestra and various choirs conducted by Richard Cock.

I went to the Last Night of the Proms at the Cape Town City Hall last night and they played Vangelis's theme from Chariots of Fire, great piece of music!
