I heard a friend's setup with some high end JBLs I think it was. No sub but very full sounding and fantasically detailed highs. The only crappy thing then is I will have to swap inputs when I go from PC to Xbox.

I'd actually considered that Rodney as I am upgrading my guitar recording setup as well. Problem is most monitors I have seen are pretty dam expensive and my budget it pretty firm at R3k. Saw some Samsons on GT for R3900.

That Techncs looks real pretty.. It looks like these run regular RCA inputs which will work for me. I don't suppose many of the budget ones will have optical in as well huh? Thanks everyone! Oh and speaker wise, anything in particular to watch or watch out for?
