Good day all. My iPod connected to a Sherbourne dock feeds coaxial to the amp. Will a PC and stand alone DAC sound better? Is there any way to bypass the iPod onboard DAC? Obviously all files are MP3 Your advice please.

Dear Forum members The consensus of opinion seems to be 1) Re evaluate the room and 2) Consider valve amplification. I must admit that I can add curtains instead of just wooden blinds for the windows, and I will toe in the speakers more. I will try to post pictures.
