I think DVD AUDIO is a fantastic format. Much better quality that my SACD's: the instruments are clearly distinguishable in the individual speakers (5.1). Of course it depends on the material, and I presume on the quality of the equipment used.

7.1 sounds fantastic, however as mentioned here there are very few proper bluray 7.1 supported titles, Hellboy II is one of them. Does anyone has a link to those native 7.1 bluray that are LOCALLY available ?

On the initial pages of this thread I saw the price of the Oppo 95 at around $us 1000. Checking in Amazon I see it available in the US for $us 499. Am I missing something?

Understood, hand luggage is not an option. If I ship it with my normal luggage, I will retain the original box, etc. But remembering that the baggage handlers throw the stuff around, will it be safe? I wouldn't want to land in ZA to find out that the contents are broken

How about bringing it like hand luggage? It is normally less than 12 kg (weight allowed) and throwing away the packaging may do the trick. Any experiences?
