Going on what Orcish says, if it was me, and I had the power amp, I would get the drivers to someone that can do the TS parameters and build some nice cabs for them. The TS parameters are all that is holding you back from doing a stunning build  :rubhands:

It will certainly carry the current, and if its the harder stuff, it makes for good routing inside the case. As for how good it is, Im sure it shouldnt be a problem.

Why not just build a box using 30mm mdf measuring 447 x 390 x 432 and make it passive.
