If you love bass, good deep bass then the Sennies are not for you. You gonna want some closed back headphones, nothing wrong with liking beats, a couple million people do in any case. Their price is high and better can be had for less, but hey if you like em you like em.

Headphones do seem to open up abit after some playtime, but I have never come across a headphone I didnt like when first hearing it that suddenly after a week became completely different. The difference tends to be slight, usually abit more of a open and relaxed sound.

Landed this one came in at a shade under 18k if I remember correctly...

The more I read on it, the more I like it. The driver design used almost always lends itself to a warm sonic signature (Denon, Fostex and B&W P7). They seem very well built, lots of attention to detail. Can only imagine the price to be attached to these...

Thanks guys, the HD800's are a very different headphone on this amp, there is no hint of harshness to them. Very impressive combo, but I still find myself drawn to the T1's, eventhough they CAN get peaky and on the wrong recording they bite your head off. Still need to add some Grado's and...

Crossfeed settings are actually very nice, they subtle and take the image outside the headphones. Have not experimented much with them, but first impression is that I can see them being very useful when watching movies or series, gives a more spacious feeling.

First Impressions? Completely worth the wait, this thing is effortless with the T1's and has my perfect signature (neutral with a tiny touch of warmth). Happy as a pig in  :cr@p: with this beauty. Been so long without a headamp, so excuse me for the next few hours  :groovy: :thumbs...

In that case, yes go for the HK's

More easy to live with on portable devices, the Senns dont need loads of power, but they like it. The senns will scale better, the HK's will sound almost identical on whatever you plug em into, the build of the HK's is also better and will stand up to more travel and issues

Havent tried this monster yet, will be used with Beyerdynamic T1, Sennheiser HD800, Audeze LCD 2, Audio Technica ATH 5000 and Denon AHD 7100, plus some other not so glamorous phones. Hopefully it kicks ass
