With respect that is nonsense you have it the wrong way around, an SSD is purely silicon device controlled by a flimsy controller and firmware in most cheap brands and they die like a cell phone one moment on the other moment off. HDD warn you when bad sectors is growing and it will slow down...

If you get a real ground loop when using laptop then you need to disconnect the ground connection on the wall plug, I suspect that is why most Apple laptops supplies does not use ground only a two point connection.
