So went on a little tape hunt, found a really cool TDK MA-XG, looks like a serious tape, real solid and heavy build quality. Have not had a chance to hook up the player to test it out, will keep you all posted.

This has got to be the biggest tape deck I have ever seen. Acquired a Nakamichi 700zxe cassette deck but no tapes. I know there is a big following and I am sure I will get to experience it as soon as I get some tapes. Looking for some advise on different tapes and setting options going forward...
