Probably just a little biased here..... :giggle:. I will always have a set of NS1000?s or maybe 2, just in case. Put on proper stands paired with good amplification and a good source....... you can go from death metal to Chopin and they will not skip a beat. :2thumbs:

I have to concur with Morne, I really love the 380s. Willem of Tubephonic builds an amazing valve Pre as well and you can specify options like ht bypass. Heard it recently in a high end system and was really very impressed. Maybe better suited to sources like vinyl although it could smooth out...

Scary to see the dirt left on the groove by the stylus.

I have to concur. I had a Vpi and traded that in on a Nessie at Giam. I simply could not live without my record cleaner. Anyone who is serious about their vinyl should in my opinion invest in one. They are a little pricey but worth every penny in the long run.
