So its been almost a year since my first attempt at manufacturing a Studer Revox trumpet style NAB adapter for my Otari.
While the first set came out just fine and worked as expected, I really wanted something looking a little more upmarket and less 'industrial'...
so along came a fresh wave of desire to damage some perfectly good aluminium, and in my humble opinion I think these came out looking rather pretty, much nicer collet screw system, incorporating both brass and aluminium as a visual..
Cannot tell a lie, they took absolute ages to make, not the trumpets themselves, that was quite straightforward, but the handles were a proper pita getting all the tooling marks off of the surface thanks to the curves..
Anyway, its all done, I do like the look, there are still some under the skin changes I want to make but in the interim what do you all think..??
