+1.  According to me, the design of the circuit, and the proper use of the correct parts at the right places means just so much more to provide a good result.  No need throwing money at a mediocre design.

@d0dja:  In some ways you are right, in that the speakers has the most influence on the tone of the sound, and how well they reproduce the signal that they are given.  But, they will never be able to provide detail that was lost when the signal went through the source and amplification.
