Looks great. I wouldn't be too concerned about the using clutch as longs as it runs smoothly and evenly. I never use the clutch on mine, keep the platter spinning when turning records over (carefully).

The Hanze HiFi motor decoupling springs is a great improvement as well: Thorens TD-124 motor decoupling springs - Hanze Hifi webshop I upgraded both my TD124 / II and TD135 / II, it is especially effective on the latter where the tonearm is mounted directly onto the chassis.

I'm so over these vinyl vs digital debates... You get lousy as well as brilliant vinyl records, with everything in between. The same goes for cassette tapes (pre-recorded), CD and digital FLAC files. The one format is not better or worse than another, they are just different.
