Looks great. I wouldn't be too concerned about the using clutch as longs as it runs smoothly and evenly.
I never use the clutch on mine, keep the platter spinning when turning records over (carefully).

I'll bite...
My first turntable was a Pioneer PL-100 (bought early 80s, and eventually sold or given away in 1995).
I got back into vinyl about 5 years ago, and this resulted in quite a busy period. These are the turntables I bought since 2018, but haven't kept:
Thorens TD 110
Lenco L70...
That is stating the obvious, I would think.
Not saying that all transports are created equal, but the sound signature is most definitely inherited from the DAC.
Jah Shaka (died 12 April 2023), also known as the Zulu Warrior. He was a Jamaican reggae/dub sound system operator who operated a South East London-based, roots reggae Jamaican sound system.
Seen as a legend by owners of the Garrard 4HF turntable.
The Hanze HiFi motor decoupling springs is a great improvement as well:

I upgraded both my TD124 / II and TD135 / II, it is especially effective on the latter where the tonearm is mounted directly onto the chassis.
Good idea - please post some progress photos, etc in the Reel-to-Reel & Cassette Tapes section.
And before you know it, you will reach the magical number of 50 posts.
I'm so over these vinyl vs digital debates...
You get lousy as well as brilliant vinyl records, with everything in between. The same goes for cassette tapes (pre-recorded), CD and digital FLAC files.
The one format is not better or worse than another, they are just different.
