Different  schematic.  Does B+ effect the type of switch that should be used :thinking:.  According to your schematic I see that as SET it should deliver 5W.

Should  be easy to add X3 RCA jacks on the top surface immediately in front of the OPT's on each side so you can choose from        UL  (?13W) to SET (?8W) by changing  a u-connect (like the ones standard between pre- and power amp on a NAD 3020 :thinking:).

Will the Xioami work for what I want to achieve if I add a HDMI Dummy Plug (Display Emulor) or is the screen needed to set it up.  If a screen is needed initially, can it be removed once setup is done and then replaced  by the Display Emulator  :thinking:

I'll use the DAC in the Audiolab.  Read now that by using the Toslink connection on the Audioengine it's DAC can be bypassed.  The Audioengine can also be directly connected to my integrated amp though..

So the Audioengine seem to have a build in DAC :thinking:

I used a Chromecast connected to Audiolab 8200 CDQ, streamed Tidal from an App on my Samsung phone but lately experienced some glitches (?IP adress clash or something but completely out of my depth).  Uninstalled and reinstalled the Chromecast but getting messages like ''... for different region...

Maybe use the better (less lateral play) of the 2 spindles and "housings" and just make a small extension.  Weight of the platters should be sufficient that you don't have to join then.  Might be beneficial if the extension has a hollow base to help with centering the top platter? Two platters...

After further investigation "Includes USB power cable" means this separate cable needs to be plugged into a USB port and then into the small black "box".  Once powered the converter works  :thumbs:

I've an older PC with VGA output.  Bought the Dell monitor which has HDMI input.  I therefor bought this as well: But only message on screen is "No HDMI signal for this device" :facepalm:
