how do you neaten the edges on chip? i want to have a mitered cut on it, but the edges would still show from a slight angle. the edges on chip look untidy

i asked for 2mX1.5m, with 25mm thickness, they quoted 3500 or so. that was for joining and sanding and finishing. way higher than what i'm budgeting for looks like either plywood, or go with veneered MDF

just called a supplier in silverton, didn't realize i would need to join the pieces together to get the width i want. I guess plywood is the only option if i want a one piece look.

because then i would just have it cut and mounted. it would feel like i didn't do much. i know the veneer will probably create a better finish than my amateur skills, but i would like to be my work.
