It's AMAZING what you can get away with, with a SoundStructure!

Glass tends to "retain" energy, rather than allowing it to pass through/on. It's also pretty selective as to its frequency retention... Same problem with other (crystalline) materials of high specific mass. Interfacing it with (damped) steel does help... There are ways of MAKING it work... But...

If you really want glass, we'll do it in glass for you, BUT... Glass sounds absolutely horrendous...  Then there's the AEJ article (going back 22+ years) showing that glass can shorten the lifespan of your equipment... It's a pity though, because it can look damn good! And it's flat... And it...
