OK, so one of these days I'll hopefully have a LCD TV. The downside is that my present rack / unit would be too small.
I am not too fond of these so-called "plasma unit" type stands, because the components usually sit below the TV at a level where they are perfectly obstructed by my coffee table.
Plan B is therefore to have a separate multi-shelf unit for the AVR, PVR, DVD, Cassette deck (
) and power amp. The TV and centre speaker should then have their own unit, (i.e. a stand for the TV with a shelf for the centre speaker below it)
Any recommendations on where to source decent quality units at fair prices? I know there are some good local manufacturers here on the forum.
