Does it affect the audio quality of a component/amplifier? seriously?
I am a firm believer that the quality of a power supply of any amp is absolutely critical in determining the quality of the amp... so how does sticking in a transformer in line (and even more so, a questionable one) affect this? Or is it neither here nor there?
I often see individuals import (sometimes ignorantly) stuff from the States, so always wonder.
Scientific and "applied" input welcome.
