I have just moved into a new townhouse apartment and need to downsize from my 5.1 set-up by losing the rears (floorstanders) for now. So I was wondering if I should use a 3.1 set-up or just a stereo + sub set-up. I will mostly be listening to music, but I do rent the odd dvd or blu-ray movie, and will stream DSTV Now (and maybe Netflix), which is stereo only, so I am not sure if it's really worth it to install the centre speaker.. Any thoughts/suggestions on this?
