I have seen people write 10 000 words on reviews, so...For those that did insights or know what it is, There is a fiery red section which is for the "Be bold, be brief, be gone" type persons. The end result of 2 hours of clicking on a wide set of questions about preferences says I fall within that section, thus Let me not deviate from that!

For those that ever wanted a AVR vs Integrated AMP comparison, herewith 3 bullet points.
I am writing this as I was skeptical of 45 watts Integrated AMP after being accustomed to a 100+ watts AVRs.

Here it is:
1. Forget about wattage. The high wattage in your AVR means nothings in real terms against an Integrated AMP. My AVR wattage is 125watts, I listen to good levels of music at 14:00 (-30) on the volume dial, now that's equivalent to 9:30 (-55) on my 45wattage Integrated AMP.
2. The bl***y thing is loud. (To sensitive, sorry.....)....whilst maintaining extreme detail and open sound. You'll hear more from the same source and content.
3. I think it can fry your small speakers or AMP (vice versa). It was the first time I heard of distortion in my system, probably the low wattage, I have no cooking clue, I studied accountancy and the only science I studied was in high school, so our engineerings class top quartile forumites might know more than me here.

The components being compared without any technical tools and equipment are
1. Marantz AVR SR7008...,,,awesome unit- the only time I'll part with it is on SR7009 or higher.
2. Marantz PM6005, I'm liking first impressions, might be keeping for a while.

Is one better than the other?

They serve different purposes,  if you are fortunate and adequate rooms and space (I.e. A separate room), let the AVR be in the TV room for movies / TV functionality and have an integrated AMP for music in a separate room.
