Hi All
I want to start of by saying that I am playing around with WinISD Pro.
I am trying to learn how the software works and maybe end up with a new 3 way kit.
This does not mean it will happen, but I hope that all can comment as well as learn something.
I had a look at other drivers from other brands as well but chosen these.
The drivers selected are:
Discovery 26W/8534G x2 (parallel connected) - Bass duties
Discovery 18W/4434G x1 - Midrange duties
Discovery R2604/832000 - Tweeter
I have entered all this data in WinISD and gave me the following except the tweeter:
Transfer Function Magnitude
SPL:
Both the Midrange and Base driver are in an sealed enclosure.
I do see some has used these drivers in vented cabs.
The crossover point between Mid and Bass is 300hz
The crossover point between Mid and Tweeter is 3 000hz
