Hi all,

First post here so dont laugh too loudly at my lack of knowledge  :)

My sister recently purchashed a 3D TV (LG 55LX9500) with the intention to get a decent HT setup to match. Content will be supplied by a PS3+HD PVR. I have been asked to look around for a good HT package. 5.1 will be sufficient.

It has only dawned on me now, that any receiver she gets would have to be HDMI 1.4 compatible. Now while the amount of 3D content she would view is actually not thaaat much and the PS3 is not the ideal 3D player, its pretty wasteful to not be able to fully utilise the screen.

I have just been in to a Dion Wired to listen to the Marantz(NR1501)+Jamo(S416HCS) package on special for 7grand and ended up getting a good listen to the other package they have. Marantz SR5005+JamoS506HCS. Sounded pretty sweet to my untrained ears. Together, that costs 14grand.

With that in mind, what are the decent entry level 3D capable receivers?
And how much are they expected to cost?
Also is the second Marantz+Jamo set I mentioned any good for the price?

Thanks for the help :-* ...  ;D
