55"+ TV sought after

Im looking for a TV , 55" or bigger  , Hd .... My requirements are a thin rim , best pic quality in a VERY light room (lots of glass , so the screen has to be non reflective.)
All we do is watch DSTV , it doesnt have to be smart , NO 3d required etc etc...
Seems if you want a big model , you automatically get all the bells and whistles you pay for but I don't need... I have a 4:3 tv at the moment , hate the black bars etc...
I dont really want to spend more than R15k , R10k would be better. I dont have a TV license...
is 2nd hand an option?
