A friend in Canada has bought.... A Vinnie Rossi L2i integrated amplifier

I suppose you might call him the last of the Big Spenders, as at $26000 is about the price of a car

In a nutshell, this is by far the best sounding amplifier he has had.  Upgraded from a Devialet 1000 and using an Auralic G2 streamer

He said words are insufficient
