I have not posted for quite a long time. So I thought that I would share my impressions on my end game Amp.
I told you in a previous post that I want to own a Hi Fi that I will love and enjoy in my retirement, which is a few years away. I shared my impressions of my end game speakers; the Proac D48R'S.
The Accuphase E480 is a wonderful amp. It pairs extremely well with my speakers which are 4 ohms, power hungry. The power of this amp seems limitless. The bass is deep and well controlled, mid range is very good and the highs are very sweet. Dynamics are very good too.
The Amp has the option of a phono card and or a DAC card. I want to buy the DAC card.
I am very happy with my system, no more up grades are necessary.
