Hi guys
I'm new to the forum and fairly new to av sound.
I have only been active in the sound game for just over a  year and i must say i have never looked back since then.

I need help with deciding on a new reciever. My current set up is as follows :
Polk Audio Lsi15 (fronts )
Polk Audio Csi5 (Centre )
Jamo Classic 4 (rear)
Polk Audio PSW1000 Sub
Yamaha RXV 1600 Reciever
Yamaha BD S473 BluRay player

I have enjoyed this set up ever since I got it but i feel like my current amp is not at par with the Polks and its starting to feel a bit vintage.
I listen to a variety of music, mainly being rnb, soul , house , hip hop. Judging from my music you will realise that the the common denominator there is good deep low bass. To help me with that bass i have a Polk Audio PSW1000 sub which i may say is unbelievable!

OK so now I'm thinking of retiring the RXV and replacing it with a RX A3030 or if lucky RX A3040 (all 2nd hand of course ). I normally listen to music on a 2.1 set up and movies on a 5.1 set up. I was also thinking of getting a power amplifier for listening to music which is why i bring up the question.  Which one do i go for?
My Polks are power hungry and I feel I need something that will deliver at least 140w rms at 8 ohms minimum to bring out the life in them.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.
