I need some advice please: I am looking to buy a AV receiver and some speakers, but I have a budget of not more than R10 000. I would preffer to buy new equipment. I reckoned a 5.1 system would be fine and I will use it mainly for music and movies, nothing fancy! I have read some great reviews on the Onkyo and Yamaha amps, so I am leaning towards one of those! Because of the budget, would it be dumb to start by buying a amp and maybe 2 speakers?
Any advice on would be greatly appreciated! Which medium priced amp to look at as well as advice on speakers to go with the amp, even if it means only buying 2 speakers for now and adding to the system later on!
