Hi, I'm new to this forum, but not new to hi-fi. Started with NAD314, Marantz PM63KIS and B&W 602 SII and loved it. Then wife, kids, etc. Only mid-range HT system ( Onkyo, B&W ) added in ten years plus. I'm looking to get back in, but seeing as I live in Bloem, auditioning is limited. My room is 4 m wide, 3 high and 11 deep, but my listening position is 3.5 m from where speakers would be. Can get a Marantz PM15 amp for a very good price and was thinking of Monitor Audio Silver RX6 and Audiolab 8200CD. Would this work well together? Could I still consider my old Marantz a good (enough) source? Should I rather get stand mount RX2's and add sub later? Your advice would be much appreciated.
